Monday, June 2nd 2025,

Once again, the striped cotton, known as baton stripes, which I love just as I love my friend Marie-Hélène, who lives on Morocco’s coast, Atlantic-Brittany like me.

This theme takes me back to Morocco, where I’ve traveled my whole life, where I’ll always return, and where I met Marie-Hélène at her Riad des Golfs. Through a ripple effect of friendships, I eventually found myself there to rest well, truthfully, to work on the collection I had to deliver that season, summer 25.

Am I separable from my creative work? Apparently not…

But let’s remain in Agadir, where Marie-Hélène, whom I didn’t yet know, welcomed me into her home a bit more than two years ago. I’d simply made a reservation… That first meeting… Let’s stay in Agadir and speak about Marie-Hélène, who brought me to Oualidia two years after we met: “You’re going to love everything,” she told me, simply.

Together, we had already traveled from Tangier to Taghazout and developed various creative projects.

Returning to her phrase from our departure from Agadir to Oualidia, indeed, I loved everything.

How could it have been otherwise?

Without knowing just how deeply it would touch me, Marie-Hélène chose, among Morocco’s endlessly varied landscapes, the only traditional oyster farming area.

There, I rediscovered familiar vegetation,
the same working elements,
the faded docks,
rusted materials, all so inspiring to me.

Here in Oualidia, the transparent, strong, and dangerous waters of the Atlantic finally calm into a turquoise bay that shelters, ebbing and flowing over endless sandbanks, soft ribbons of tender pink and translucent blues…

Just like Oualidia, Marie-Hélène calms and protects me, offering the freedom to express myself within the workshop she created for us, allowing me to travel along the Atlantic coast, reconnect, and develop a handmade collection that’s deeply precious to my balance.

It’s important to note that we stayed at La Sultana, whose sublime terraced gardens tumble downward, overflowing with hibiscus and giant bright-red geraniums, contrasting vividly against the indigo-blue and white baton-striped deck chairs.

You’ve guessed correctly: my inspiration was right there!

For summer ’25, I have a first surprise to share with you.

Marie-Hélène entrusted me with a marvelous project in her beautiful Riad, an extraordinary place where a fire pit dramatically finishes the pool, and also, last but not least, THE very first Prestic room.

This project represents two women, close friends, on the Atlantic coast…

Thank you, my dear friend,
for this journey, for the beauty of this trip,
your friendship, and your trust.

I conclude this text with a simple statement:

“The Riad des Golfs in Agadir is not a hotel, but a home and Marie-Hélène is not its owner, but its soul.
